Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website (Services). In this Cookie Policy we, us or our means Credit Analyst Academy Pty Ltd.

Cookies are text files placed in your computer’s browser to store your preferences, provide a better user experience, and track patterns with regards to how users use our online Services. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your email address or other personally identifiable information. However, they do recognise you when you return to our online Services and allow third parties to cause our advertisements to appear on your social media and online media feeds as part of our retargeting campaigns. If and when you choose to provide our online Services with personal information, this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

We use the following cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of our online Services. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our online Services, use a shopping cart or make use of online payment services.

• Analytical/performance cookies. These are cookies that allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors to our online Services and to see how visitors move around our online Services when they are using them. This helps us to improve the way our online Services work, for example, by ensuring that users find what they are looking for easily.

• Functionality cookies. These are used to recognise you when you return to our online Services. These cookies enable us to personalise our content for you and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).

• Targeting and advertising cookies. These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. We will use this information to make our website and the advertising displayed on it more relevant to your interests. We may also share this information with third parties for this purpose.

• Social media cookies. These cookies are used when you share information using a social media sharing button or “like” button on our websites or you link your account or engage with our content on or through a social media site. The social network will record that you have done this. This information may be linked to targeting/advertising activities.

Third-party tools on our website

We use the following third-party tools on our website. They use cookies and similar technologies, and the providers may collect personal information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and how you use our website. These providers may store or process this information outside Australia, and each handles it under its own privacy policy.

• Google Analytics (Google). Counts visits and shows us how people use our website, so we can improve it. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). Shows us how you use and interact with our website, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replays. We use this information to improve our website and services. Microsoft also collects or receives this information to provide Microsoft Advertising. Clarity session recordings are kept for 30 days, although some recordings and heatmap data may be kept for up to 9 months. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out of Clarity by selecting Microsoft on the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

• Meta Pixel (Meta). Measures how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and helps us show our ads to people who have visited our website. See the Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn). Measures how our LinkedIn ads perform, gives us aggregated information about our website visitors, and helps us show our ads to people who have visited our website. See the LinkedIn Cookie Policy, or opt out of LinkedIn ads based on your visits to other websites here.

• Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft). If you book a call with us, the details you enter (such as your name, email, phone number and any notes) are processed by Microsoft and stored in our Microsoft 365 account so we can manage your appointment. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Some of these tools may be loaded through Google Tag Manager.

You can control or withdraw from this tracking at any time:

• Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings, which limits the ability of these tools to recognise you on future visits. However, if you block all cookies (including strictly necessary cookies), you may not be able to access all or parts of our online Services.

• Individual tools. You can opt out of Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the LinkedIn Insight Tag using the links next to each tool above. For the Meta Pixel, you can manage the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

• Global Privacy Control. Microsoft Clarity respects the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends it.

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Cookie Policy by publishing the amended Cookie Policy on our website. We recommend you check our website regularly to ensure you are aware of our current Cookie Policy.
